Untucked shirts used to look unstylish and sloppy, but now men everywhere can rejoice as the new style is untucked shirts. These shirts are specifically designed to be worn untucked while staying classic and fresh. Just make sure it isn’t too long if you’re on the shorter side – if it is, consider getting it hemmed to the proper length before your travels.

Down Below
Now that we have your top half covered (literally) it’s time to work down below. Trousers are always a safe and stylish bet, as long as you have enough room and they fit comfortably.
A pair of jeans can also be worn casually or you can dress it up. If you’re traveling for business, a pair of chinos or dress pants works best.
Mix and Match
Now that you know where you’re traveling to and what the climate is it’s time to pack. If it’s a strictly a business or leisure trip, it makes your packing a little easier by mixing and matching.
This means you can choose a pair of pants or shirts which play many roles. Pack a pair of jeans and wear two different shirts with it – one for a day trip and one for a nice dinner. You get the idea.
This not only saves space in your suitcase but also helps give you options depending on what you have planned.
Footwear
Shirts – check. Pants – check. It’s time to work on the footwear.
When you’re traveling you don’t want to have to worry about wearing something uncomfortable on your feet all day or having blisters at the end of your trip.
Some things to consider before buying or packing any footwear is how much you’ll be walking. If you’re going somewhere tropical and plan on taking hikes, a pair of hiking boots should suffice. If sightseeing in a city or the countryside is in your foreseeable plans a good pair of athletic shoes will be your best friend throughout your trip.
If it’s a business trip you’re attending, you should already have a pair of dress shoes – don’t forget to pack them! For those less-than-formal yet more than casual dinner nights consider a pair of slip-on shoes. Not only are these perfect for any occasion but they save you the hassle at the airport during security checks.
Other Items to Consider
Don’t forget to pack some time of headwear, whether to protect you from some intense sunshine or to keep your ears warm. Although some hats aren’t the most stylish, they are functional.
Belts are a necessity to ensure your pants stay on, but did you know they could have multiple functions? Skip packing a shoehorn and use your belt instead!
Lastly, a nice sports coat or sports jacket dresses up an outfit and makes you look sharp.
